I am so excited to debut The OCD Catholic’s new logo on this lovely Monday afternoon!

Shortly after going live last week, my good friend Alice, owner of Kateri Studios, offered to design a logo for this site, and I was THRILLED to have her do that, as I am not gifted in that area, but OH BOY Alice is!! Kateri Studios is a full-service marketing boutique for small businesses, and Alice is a joy to work with. She’s creative and professional, and was able to capture exactly what I wanted in a simple, timeless design. If you or someone you know is looking to market their small business but don’t know where to start, Kateri Studios is the way to go!

Now I want to talk a bit about the logo itself, because I can’t get enough! One of my favorite saints is St. Therese of Lisieux, the Little Flower. She was scrupulous herself and is a wonderful heavenly friend of mine, and the patroness of this site. Alice caught on to my inspiration right away and incorporated those beautiful roses into our logo, which I was thrilled with! The yellow and red roses in full bloom in particular are my favorite, and when I saw them I immediately associated the yellow with the joy of life as a Catholic, and the joy to be found in the midst of suffering, and the red reminded me of the Passion of Our Lord, and the suffering that those of us who struggle with OCD/scrupulosity experience.

The cross is the means by which saints are made, and my cross of OCD/scrupulosity is similar to that of my Saintly Muse, St. Therese, represented by those roses.

I couldn’t be happier with the logo, and hope you all love it as much as I do!

Find Alice online at kateristudios.com, and on Instagram @kateristudios!
